Respite care at Park Lane Care Homes is available based on bed availability. While we always strive to accommodate requests, this may not always be possible.
However, The Hall Care Home (Thornton Le Dale) has recently opened a dedicated respite care suite, allowing stays to be booked in advance. Many of our clients enjoy scheduling multiple stays, treating them like mini holidays—a chance to relax, receive professional care, and enjoy a welcoming community.

Day care at Park Lane Healthcare is offered on a case-by-case basis, with availability and services differing at each home. It can serve as a gentle introduction to care home living, helping individuals ease into a new environment at their own pace.
Day care visits can range from a half or full-day stay to simply joining us for lunch and participating in activities. However, it is provided at the manager’s discretion and may not always be suitable for everyone. We strive to accommodate individual needs while ensuring the best possible experience for all our residents and visitors.
